The air is cooling down and the leaves are turning… It is our favorite season at Yellow Brick Road… CONTEST SEASON!! We collaborate with our families each year through fun seasonal contests and they are always a hit!!
The first contest of the season is our ‘Out Standing’ Scarecrow Contest! Last year, we had families in Nebraska, Iowa, and Minnesota submit their scarecrows for our contest and they were amazing. Each year, our families go above and beyond in their designs and we are all eagerly waiting for all of the submissions for this year!!
So, how does the contest work, what do our families win, and what do some of our submissions look like?! Great questions…
This year our families will submit pictures of their scarecrows to their directors by October 23rd to participate in the contest. From there, we post every scarecrow and families start voting for their favorites! They share theirs with their friends and families to boost their votes until voting ends on November 5th!
The neatest part is that every participating family gets a yard sign to place next to their scarecrow so that anyone passing by can scan a QR code and vote too! The scarecrow with the most votes in each state wins one week’s tuition!!
