Today is Earth Day, and at Yellow Brick Road, we have celebrated Earth Day all week!! Many of our classes spent this week talking about what it means to celebrate Earth Day and care for our planet. Here are some of the activities that our students took part in throughout their lessons about Earth Day!
In our Plymouth location, our Pre-K class made their own Earth Vests and they performed this adorable song! Of course, we had to stream it on Facebook Live for all of our parents to see, so you can see it there by following this link: https://fb.watch/cyKgp07L0b/!

In our Minnetonka location, our Pre-K kiddos made their own globes with paper mache! They used their artistic skills to create a globe that they were each so proud of!

In our Eden Prairie location, our preschool class went on a nature walk! They took their spring cleaning outside and cleaned up our playgrounds and outdoor classrooms after the long winter that we had this year!

Our Pre-K class in Eden Prairie created their own earth as they discussed ways to help improve the planet each day!

While you are home this weekend enjoying the nice weather, ask your child what they learned this week about the earth! They may even have fun ideas of ways that you can spend your time outside this week celebrating Earth Day as well!
